Les Chalets des Evettes is a 3* leaseback development located in the village resort of Flumet in the Savoie Alps, France.

The chalets are located in the Espace Diamant station range which is one of Europe's largest connected ski able areas offering 185km of skiing through forests, high mountain pastures and quaint villages. The station range which offers spectacular views of Mount Blanc, Europe’s highest peak, is a connection of 5 village resorts namely Flumet, Praz sur Arly, Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Les Saisles & Crest Voland-Cohennoz. The Espace Diamant range goes from 1000m to 2069m.

Plans are presently afoot to extend the skiing runs to 600km by 2008 by linking with the towns of Megève, Saint Gervais and Combloux.


 
The complex will comprise of 80 fully furnished 2 & 3-bed apartments and will be constructed in traditional mountain style chalets combining wood and stone. The development will be used to respect the surrounding area and the traditional chalets that are located at the foot of the ski slopes.

As well as the excellent skiing season offered in the winter the area also benefits from a very active summer season. Activities at this time of year include hiking, mountain biking, canyoning, golf, fishing etc. In addition to this Flumet is at a large tourist crossroads on the ‘Route de Grande Alps’ which is a beautiful mountain excursion of over 600km taking you from Lake Geneva down to the Mediterranean Sea crossing the highest Alpine passes en route.

The development will boast an indoor swimming pool, sauna & jacuzzi as well as a games room, indoor & outdoor parking and equipped laundry.

Following the completion of the development investors will benefit from an 11-year guaranteed lease provided by the well recognised management company who will maintain the complex on a day to day basis.

As this development qualifies for Residence de Tourisme Clasée - Leaseback status all investors will benefit from a 19.6% lump sum VAT refund following its completion as well as the generous ongoing tax allowances also provided under this scheme.
